Dave Osborn

Dave Osborn is a retired technology CEO whose passion for storytelling launched a fulfilling second career as an author. He began writing with Taking Charge!, a business leadership memoir reflecting on his 52+ years in the technology industry. He followed it with The Adventures of Piper, a non-fiction children’s series inspired by his beloved rescue dog and therapy partner, Piper.

Dave’s first fiction novel, Signals of Deception, is a geopolitical thriller introducing CIA Special Agent Scott Douglass, a character who will return in future installments.

Beyond writing, Dave advocates for animal welfare and is a lifelong musician. He plays piano, guitar, bass, and five-string banjo, with a special love for bluegrass music. He also enjoys bird hunting, bay fishing, and coastal sailing in South Texas.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Science and an MBA, which, along with his executive background, lend depth and discipline to his writing. He lives in Harlingen, Texas, with his wife Marilyn and their rescue dog Piper. Together, they are avid history enthusiasts who enjoy international travel and learning about other cultures. They are also proud parents of two adult children and grandparents to two grandsons in the Houston area.
